The Children's Society
The Children’s Society are a leading national charity, driven by the belief that every single child deserves a good childhood. The children's society's network of projects helps 10's of 1000's of children and their families each year, supporting young run aways at risk on the streets, kids in trouble with the law, disabled children and young refugees, while The children's society's research & campaigning safeguards and protects the childhood of all children in the UK.
The childrens society are only able to continue their work through the generous donations of their supporters, volunteers and general public. This allows them to concentrate their work where the need is the greatest and not just in areas where government funding is available, this makes the childrens society a truly independent organisation.
