WWF

WWF The World Wide Fund for Nature and formerly the World Wildlife Fund is the world's largest and most experienced independent conservation organisation working in more than 90 countries and is a challenging, constructive & science based organisation that tackles issues from the survival of species & habitats to climate change, sustainable business and environmental education.

Much of the WWF's work is in areas where the most critically endangered wildlife & the least protected habitats are found. However, the origins of many environmental problems lie in developed countries, including the UK, and in our attitudes & behaviour e.g. our consumption of natural resources. This is why the UK WWF not only directs 70% of its conservation expenditure towards global programmes but also seeks to influence global environmental issues through responsible actions carried out in the UK.

Adopt an animal today from £2.50 a month with WWF and you will recieve a WWF adoption pack contains a certificate, a print of your animal, a fact booklet about the species, a greeting card, advice on how to live a greener lifestyle, WWF screensavers and a soft toy of your chosen species.
